Hart Kerlin (1949-2020)

It is with deep regret we inform you of the untimely death of Maryland Fire and Explosive Investigators Association (MFEIA) member Hart Kerlin in December 2020. Hart began in the early 1980s as a member of the Maryland Arson Investigators Association (MAIA) and the Maryland / District of Columbia Chapter of the International Association of Fire Investigators before the two organizations merged.

Hart also served as a member of the Baltimore Police Department Arson Unit, Nationwide Insurance Investigation Unit, Trident engineering, SEA and most recently at Great Dane.
